7 ways you could promote Ganobrand (or any other affiliate program)

Newbie Steps

1 - Add your affiliate link anywhere it is allowed.

Your affiliate URL is the key to the door - a potential customer visiting is tracked by the affiliate software (using cookies) and when a person buys from your link, or signs up to sell via your page you are given credit in the form of a commission for any sales you or they make.

Example: http://www.ganobrand.com/ilovecoffee is my affiliate URL.

There are thousands of places you can advertise for free on-line where you won't be accused of spamming. There are advertising networks, Classified advertising and social networks like my Ning Nomads that allow Blogverts and discussion about products and services - note I don't allow blatant spam or cashgifting - but I do allow members to advertise and share product knowledge.

Recruitment tools

I personally recommend using Dan weavers 3 Cash Machine System as it combines a bunch of the most popular traffic exchanges together with Global Domains International (where you can build a website and earn from referrals) and Yuwie - I've met some friendly people on Yuwie, the advertising is nuts on there - but if you can ignore that (like I can) there is a community of people waiting to chat and make connections.

Visit my Free Classifieds page for more places to advertise for free.

Note: I will be adding 3CM back on to my healthy coffee downline builder soon.

2. - Email Sigs

Add your Affiliate URL to your e-mail signatures - go into your e-mail options and you will find where to add a signature to your e-mail.

Example:

PS - Don't forget to visit my website:
http://www.ganobrand.com/ilovecoffee

3 - Add your Banners

Add banners, images and links to your blog (s) website(s) blogger and Jimdo offer free services where you can learn to make websites, blogs and share.

Example this one is aimed at recruiting affiliates:

Where as this one is aimed at people interested in buying the product:

These banners can also be put in banner exchanges - like this one ExchangeAd

4. - Write a Review or do a Video

Write a review or make a video explaining to others why you like the product - keep it real - don't feel you have to say you like it if you don't - for example not all coffees are the same, maybe you don't like coffee, try the gano tea or hot chocolate instead - endorse the product you like the flavor of and recommend the whole range of products as other options to be subtle.

I'm a bit naughty, I guess, in my youtube videos as if something tastes like 'ditch water' I say so - more or less - but that might not be the best way to get sponsorship/sales! - BUT I go on the theory that just because I do or don't like something doesn't mean others won't love it - it's a challenge - are you gonna love or hate a product as much as me?

5. - Write an Article - let it go viral

There are loads of places you can write an article and include your link at the bottom.

A service I use is Hubpages - you can add your adsense code (free from google) and earn that way from your articles.

6. Submit a press release:

http://www.prfree.com/

7. Visit each of Zara's Coffee Venues...

....and add an informative classified advert, an article or just say hi - Network/invite friends that are already on the network and leave your twitter at address Example: @coffee2u so people can find you even without a website - you don't need to use sales copy or a website address to tell people what you do and how they can contact you. (note Kootaam for example don't allow adverts of any sort, but if a person privately contacts you via your profile for information you can help them further by chatting with them via messages.

tweaking my local coffee label and other things

Okay I've decided on the cup of coffee and a change of scene - I will probably add ZCV on the cup for "Zara's Coffee Venues" - I've used my local twitter account rather than a @coffee2u or @allthingscoffee (some of my other my other twitter accounts)because I chat with locals on the local one - coffee2u is more of an American one and allthingscoffee is the Zlio Store - I wish the Zlio people would allow us to link to some of our own offers - that's the main thing that bugs me about it so far - and the low commission rate of course! - I will see how it goes with Zlio - it's a nice product but no direct sales allowed limits it's use for me.

Here's my latest version of my label I'll be tweaking:

The gap on the left is extra space to add an address label/edition number - as I think I'll be numbering all as they might be a limited edition - not sure yet.

I am focused again on my blue print - so will be creating that private coffee club soon - where people will get priority for free samples of coffee to try and other perks I am dreaming up!.

If you are looking for a coffee substitute - I've seen this one that has a neat brand/style about it - I might see where I can get it wholesale - this really is herbal coffee - some of the blends have real coffee flavor minus the caffeine.

Which image to put on my coffee ?

I'm having a go at a private label coffee - I have two images and I can't decide which to use - this is just a first draft but what do you think ? - the title "weston-super-mocha" - is a pun on the name of the town - Weston-super-Mare / and the "brown colored" sea (mud deposits from the nearby Bristol channel)

The lady with the parasol - is looking at things from a Victorian/Edwardian angle when towns like Weston were built for the rich to bath in the mud, retreat from the cities.

The coffee cup is a direct connection mocha = coffee.

social media revolution updated vid.

A reminder that social media is more popular than pornography, and youtube is the second biggest search engine - amongst other things!

Hi all! coffee update

I've been busy doing thinking and planning and stuff so haven't updated for a bit. I got side tracked by creating a Zlio shop, but apart from tweeking it for the search engines I just need to add it to my collection of coffee related stuff - and continue focusing on the main subject of this blog - Healthy Coffee!

Coffee Venues

I am still visiting the fledgling venues and I am also creating back up / replacements to keep things flowing, as you might see, people are slowly drifting in some, people will also slowly gather at other places - the venues I am focusing on are the places - in some cases -where you can add your products - for example - if you belong to Hi5, Multiply or Plaxo - you may as well join the 'local' coffee venue I have created on them - takes a couple minutes to add your intro and link, invite people to your website or tell them why you like a certain brand of coffee - if you are selling coffee - exposure and gathering is important for personal branding, as each of us can be an expert and offer advice from experience of using the products concerned.

Drink Up...

- If you haven't tried ganoderma coffee yet get some already! - if you don't like coffee yourself, buy some for a friend or relative that does like coffee - someone that will give you feedback. Some people might not like the idea of extra things added to their coffee - so personally I'd opt for the black coffee option people can add their own choice of milk/whiter, sugar etc.

Poisoning your parents!

BTW- I forgot to mention (or didn't make it clear enough) to one person there was ganoderma in it - she thought is was just some kind of powered coffee and loved it - when at a later date I mentioned the gano - she freaked -

" waddya mean there was extra stuff in it ?!"

"don't panic, it's just herbal coffee, I thought you read the packet!" I replied

- lesson here is don't forget to mention the herbal element or your family (if like mine) with think you were putting arsenic in their drink! - some people aren't used to the concept of herbs in coffee and I guess there is always the chance a person might have an allergy to mushrooms or ginseng.

Price objections - well you don't have that problem with ganobrand and you live in the States - but there are people in Gano Excel and the Healthy Coffee Company etc. that the wholesale price and shipping is steep - especially for me here in the UK. In this case it is worth remembering the gourmet qualities - the fact you import it - it is still a specialty coffee - so it commands a higher price - YOU are going to the extra lengths needs to get this coffee for your customer - so they should pay you for the trouble you go to, to get it.

- in other words if you are like me and having to pay a small fortune for the stuff - the mark-up price is going to be pretty lousy if you are direct selling it only - BUT - if you are a distributor after than an affiliate - you have to mark up regardless and justify your price in order to make a profit - you have to make a profit to be in business, you can't play the 'loss leader' game and beat people on price with this coffee just yet.

The only way you can get the product at a variety of prices is to join a mixture of affiliate and mlm - the affiliate program provides cheaply priced coffee, which you could sell individually for example - so that people can try it as a sample - The engeri coffee I tried for example - didn't taste like it came from a supermarket - it has a different flavor - taste - it is that different taste you are really selling. The MLM provides the risk factor/path of progression on a business plan - if you want to work your way to much bigger profits - at the lower end - everything is fair game to try out - but if you want to make your path in one company and go for bigger bonuses - eventually you will be expected to choose one brand and become totally loyal to just it.

Other stuff

Okay, so I've being setting up my Zlio Store and adding a few articles, I might put together some more pdf's soon - you could put together your own - if you are making use of openoffice.org their free office suite has a web editor - you simply copy and paste an article (an article you have permission to use or PLR from a reputable marketer) had you save it as a pdf - done - an ebook.

coffee pod machines

Coffee Pod Brewer - The Best Coffee You've Ever Had

Author: Sheila Jonstone

You may have noticed that regular coffee makers are quickly becoming obsolete thanks to the new coffee pod machine's that are on the market. The convenience, speed and selection of these new machines are boosting their popularity and proving that they can't be beat. A coffee pod machine may be just what you've been waiting for. Keep reading to find out.

There's nothing easier than putting a coffee pod into the maker and simply pushing a button. No more measuring or grinding of beans. Coffee pods are much like a tea bag, but filled with exactly the right amount of coffee instead. This leaves very small room for mistakes, ensuring that every cup you make will always be fresh and consistent.

Coffee pod machine's also solve the age old problem of needing to brew an entire pot, when all you really want is one cup of coffee. Also if you have family or friends over, not everyone wants to drink the same thing. What happens if someone only drinks decaf? With a coffee pod maker you'll be able to make a wide variety of drinks quickly and with no waste.

You'll be amazed at thow fast these machines are compared to your regular old coffee maker. Most machines will brew a cup of coffee in less than a minute. Perfect for busy people or for family's. Cleaning up is even quicker. There's no longer a need to clean up spilled coffee grinds or carafe's to wash. All you need to do is chuck the cofee pod into the waste basket and wash your mug out. It's a snap!

Coffee pod machines are available in a wide variety of styles ensuring that you'll be able to find a machine that will fit in with your kitchen's decor. Well known brands such as Melitta, Bunn, Braun, Senseo and Bosch all have coffee pod makers in their product lineups.

The coffee pods themselves are also available in a wide assortment. A huge variety of blends are available for purchase. Flavored cofee is also available as well as espresso, decaf and cappuccino to name just a few.

Plaxo = 1 way to organise all your social networking contacts

If you are anything like me you might be well on the way to having a wide network, some are known across networks, some are long time cyber friends, some are people that you know offer a great service or they are influential in their field of expertise.

Eventually, to get any benefit from your network of contacts you are going to have to organize them I've decided to try out Plaxo again, as they have made a number of improvements, including streams, google maps and other bits and bobs since I last looked at it properly.

For example I am currently in the process of sorting through all my connections on mybloglog and Ning, checking what they do - how they can be useful to my business or maybe who I'd not mind meeting for a business chat to learn more about what they do, possible JV's etc.

most of this needs to be done manually - the benefit of that is if they are already on Plaxo a mini resume/mini profile comes up with a map - in short is a way to get to know who you are connected with as individuals - and real social networking / business networking is about getting to know what people do, to build up a mental rolodex of who can help who - and who can help you / who you can help etc.

One bonus is you can also sync your plaxo account with your facebook account - so any friends already using Plaxo will show up as people you can connect with.

Using plaxo is a way to get to know people rather than the mass broadcasts which are largely ineffective on most networks (apart from twitter) as people switch of their e-mails/get fed up with it - example I have over 5000 e-mails in my Ning account, I will plow through them eventually but most are send by people that prevent return e-mails - if you are going to broadcast - it has to be a two way willingness to connect in my opinion or it becomes spam.

Anyway for people that want to connect you are more than welcome :-)

Plaxo is free - there is a premium version but for now the freebie is helping me enough to get a better sense of who is out there and what they do.

coffee machines

Coffee Machines

Author: Eoin Beckett
Great Coffee Machines for Coffee Drinking Machines

My wife is a coffee nut (or bean, if you prefer) of the highest order. And I'm not much different. This means we're always experimenting with new methods of brewing different varieties of coffee bean. In the space of the few years we have been together, we have been through more coffee pots than Gza Gza Gabor has been through husbands (is she actually married at the moment?). We've tried:
French Presses, espresso and cappuccino machines, regular perculators, filter machines, coffee pots that defy description.
In fact, so many have vied for space on our crowded countertop that I'm struggling to picture them all as I write. However, we may well have found the ultimate coffee machine combination that meets both our needs. Finally.

The Mimalist's French Press Coffee Machine

I'm a cappuccino afficianodo, but my wife is more minimalist in her
tastes, and prefers to hunker down with a smooth black brew. Although it wasn't long
ago I remember her sipping Vienna Mlange, heavy on the chocolate, since she started design school she has streamlined her habits. Now she employs a one-cup Bodum French press. This produces coffee of industrial strength with a caffeine content high enough to revive a dead donkey. It also looks great on the counter top, and its diminutive size leaves plenty of space for our other current coffee brewing experiments. The size has another advantage. French press coffee machines aren't partcularly good at keeping the coffee warm for very long. In fact, after ten minutes, it's already verging on the undrinkable, so having a coffee machine that only makes enough coffee for one cup means you get a great-tasting optimal cup of coffee every time. It is, however, fiddly to clean, and my wife is not one to encumber her life with meagre cleaning tasks before whizzing out of the door to work every morning. I, on the other hand, work from home. I get to poke that French press mesh with my washing up brush a little more often than I would choose to in a perfect world.

The Grinder/Coffee Pot Combo

We went through a phase of trying out grinder/brewer combos. This was largely my fault as I'm a stickler for grinding my own coffee beans so they are fresh for each brew. While the coffee pots functioned as they should, I was never really 100% satisfied with the grinder elements. They didn't allow enough control over how fine or grainy the beans could be ground, they warmed the beans - especially if I was preparing coffee for a lot of people - and they tended to be very noisy. Stand-alone grinders win hands down every time.

Pleasing All the People All of the Time - at least at Home.

At the moment we have returned to using a stand-alone coffee grinder that suits both our requirements. My wife uses her Bodum French press with a course-grained bean, and I am fortunate to have a Gaggia coffee machine that takes a finer grained bean, makes all the right noises, fills the kitchen with the finest aroma known to man and makes the milk foamy and stiff, just right for the perfect capuccino. And I can always re-steam the milk if I want another cup later on, so there's no danger of leaving the coffee on a hotplate and burning it, which is handy because contrary to my wife I believe that one cup is never enough.

Hi Folks just an update

hi there, just an update from Zara, last couple days I've been 'doing things' including setting up a Zlio Store - now you can set up one of these stores for free with up to 50 products in and they basically are e-stores linked to affiliate products, now the revenue % percentage is pretty low on some of the products (because zlio take a 40% cut on average) but I like the layout of the stores and you can add social networking links.

ALL THINGS COFFEE

The store I have gone for is using the premium version but like I say there is a free version - you can pick which country and pick a product line. I've gone for a UK based store and a Coffee Product line and I've used one of their free templates - my store is here not quite finished yet! I've added a mix of coffee products.

http://www.allthingscoffee.co.uk

I am hoping to add google connect or the xat chat box or something else to aid interactivity.

But this store may give a coffee affiliate some ideas to use in their own store - for example I've not stopped at coffee machines and coffee - the concept for all things coffee - is just that - all things coffee 'looking' or inspired too.

For example jewelry, furniture and clothing etc. is sometimes coffee colored - chocolate can = mocha coloured - cappuccino = tan and golds and whites etc.

So I also have a range of bed sheets described as 'cappuccino' by the supplier, designer bags, dresses etc.

So Coffee, at least in my store goes beyond just the stuff we drink, but that's because I'm exploring the niche. You could drill down further and just sell coffee machines or just sell coffee cups.

People that drink their lovely cup of Ganobrand Coffee, need some nice coffee cups and coasters to compliment their new favorite drink, don't you think ?

Other things:

The Coffee Venues

Okay, my venues I've made a temporary universal logo for them to bring a sense of focus to the idea that they are all the same thing - just spread out across networks.

I have made these venues for Coffee affiliates to either post their affiliate link, together with an article or review of the coffee they drink - in a targeted coffee place, where you are expected by all in there to post relating to coffee.

You could see them as virtual, free coffee convention center's. (at the moment they are just groups, with not a lot going on but as with any venue it takes time and incentives and content and locals etc. to build up a readership.

The point of them being there is if you belong to any of the social networks featured you can join the coffee venue associated with it.

Now one useful thing you could post there as a coffee affiliate, is links to discounted coffee or free coffee samples - these are well known ways for you to get leads into your coffee business.

Social networks are more than just link farms and lead generators, they are places to network and make friends - so you need to bare that in mind - I might be your next customer for example - what coffee products have you got that would interest ME ? Why would I want to buy from you ?.

The Journalist saying Who, What, Why, How, Where, when ?

Is very useful for marketers, a number of people use it as a basis for interaction about the facts/building press releases,pre-launch all sorts. It's like an interview.

Example:

Q - Who are you ? A - I am Zara an Internet Marketer based in the UK.

Q - What do you do ? A - I sell Coffee related items on-line, I have a particular interest in ganoderma coffee.

Q - Why are you doing it ? A - I personally like Coffee so thought I'd see if I could sell it, I've been interested in Internet marketing for 8 years, and decided to focus on the coffee niche to make use of everything I have learned so far.

Q - How are you selling it ? A - I am in the process of setting up Coffee Venues which are attached to revenue share business models such as affiliate marketing, dropshipping, estores, blogs and auction sites. This is combined with social networking and personal branding to create more awareness of the products and services available to coffee consumers.

Q - Where can you be contacted if I with to make a coffee purchase or join the affiliate programs you recommend ? A - If you wish to contact me regarding a purchase or coffee affiliate details I can be contacted for UK information @allthingscoffee or @coffee2u on Twitter ( note: @coffee2u is now my USA coffee information channel)I can also be contacted here: http://www.allthingscoffee.co.uk/about

Q - When is your next live broadcast/webinar/video blog/newsletter due out ? A - At the moment I don't have set dates for any of the above but you can generally expect a video and or newletter once or twice a week and my blog updates are delivered via feedburner once daily, providing I post that day. People can optin to extra e-mail courses as they wish.

You could also use this Q and A to make sure you know who your target market is - i.e who are your potential customers, What brand of coffee to they currently buy ? Why are they buying that coffee ? How are they buying that coffee ? Where and when are they buying that coffee ? = How can you get them to buy coffee from you instead ?

Final note:

Just a reminder again that each of the venues is hosted on a social networking website, each has their different set of rules - remember if in doubt - leave the affiliate link out and add a way for people to contact you about a product or service you sell - i.e you can say to people what you do as a living and invite people to link with you on facebook or twitter or plaxo for example.

Plaxo is venue no.25

With Plaxo you can then drop your new buddy a quick e-mail if they have expressed an interest in your product range. - If you are a phone person - i.e you don't mind people phoning you at all times - I'd say add your phone number to anything and everything - get customers to call you and ask for information.

I personally don't do phone calls preferring e-mail and forums so I can think my answers through a bit first - but I might take it on as a challenge in the future - then you can ring me and we can chat about all this if you want :-)
